Spam From Pfizer and Lilly

Member Submitted Question:

Do you have any magic tricks in your box to block hundreds of spam messages from Pfizer and Lilly that I'm receiving daily? I'm using the Kaspersky Antivirus program, but I guess it doesn't include a spam blocker. I've tried using message rules in Outlook Express, which directs most of them to my deleted folder, but I still have to empty that folder.

One way to stop all email from Pfizer and Lilly, in Outlook (Not Outlook Express), is to make a rule that states if the word Pfizer or Lilly are found in the sender’s address then delete it or send it to the junk mail folder. Go to Tools and Click Rules and Alerts

There is an action one can select to delete the message if the rule applies.
Be careful with this one because all rules are not perfect and you might delete a message you might have wanted to save!! Ken

Then click finish on the Rules Wizard window. Now any email with Pfizer or Lilly in the sender’s address will go to the Junk Mail folder.
You can make varied rules to block email having them deleted or sending them to a specified folder. This can be used when the standard filters have holes letting email through.

This method will work with Outlook Express.
Go to Tools - click Message Rules - click Mail then Fill in the New Message Rule, Name it and click OK
